The rule is in Article 250 so people have a hard time finding it. You can use LFMC as an EGC if it is less than 6' AND only for 20 amp circuits if its 3/8 or 1/2" conduit and upto 60 amps if its 3/4" to 1 1/4" LFMC conduit.
