Just have someone lean on a block while you tap where there are kinks or ripples that are along the lower radiator support. Then hammer and dolly out the kinks and maybe a wide wide chisel to get the bends back where needed. Just take your time and don't over hammer it. Then hook your come-along through the eye bolt and pull. Weld up the hole when you're finished if you're a concours nazi! macstang
WebJan 18, 2024 · The biggest issue which would have been make or break was the Rad Support. The car look like it had incident with a curb. The front of the front drivers side frame rail was wrinkled along with the Rad Support on that side. Someone tried to straighten it in the past with little success. WebSlammed the car into reverse 5 or 6 times and got the beam straightened somewhat close, put the radiator back in, and rocked the hell out of the car for two years until a drunk totalled it.
