BUT, the cover has the shifter several inches farther forward (IIRC). Otherwise, the Tcase flange/shaft and bellhousing are identical. Alaska sucks. Don't move here. It snows in July. Webb2 jan. 2012 · Your trans should have a 10 spline output shaft mating to a 205 transfer case. NV4500's iirc all have 32 spline outputshafts so you would need to get a 32 spline 205 transfercase. I would look at why you really want a 5 speed if it's just to replace a worn out sm465 then I would suggest finding a different sm465 or rebuilding yours.
